CONTEXT
As you set foot in Craiva, in the mountains of Transylvania, the eye is captivated immediately by the beauty of an almost deserted place.
As you walk around, nature unfolds before your eyes and you discover the house of The Blacksmith: Emanuel Bezerita; he is the last of his kind, a master of the ancient Dacian art of ironwork.
IDEA
Emanuel greets us in his shop, a place where masterpieces are born out of the fire and the sound of the hammers that destroy, only to recreate new shapes. Each experience shapes the artist as well, he tells us, just like the flames shape the iron before it is transformed into an object.
