Start(up) the Summer right

Some people are excited about summer because they get to go on holiday, get a tan, get to enjoy a cold beer in the sun – you know, the usual summer vibes stuff. We at Heraldist are excited because we get to work with great ideas and great startups – defining their Product Value Proposition and doing their rebranding in the process as well.

One startup we've been working with is viaVision (formerly known as 4DPixel), an XR (extended reality) studio based in Cluj, Romania. Their mission is to explore how to make the best use of “new" technologies (AR & VR) in order to create meaningful products that can genuinely help people and create change. Our mission was to help them differentiate from competition, with a touch of rebranding in there as well.

Another startup is WayPay. We met them at the Startup Bootcamp in Amsterdam and it was love at first (bootcamp) sight.

Their product is meant to ease transactions by removing the pesky, commission taking intermediaries, giving the power back to companies and people. We helped them define their positioning as well as build their identity. We saw this as an opportunity to make the complicated FinTech world accessible by imbuing it with a human, simple tone.

There’s still work underway with a communication campaign being developed before the official launch, but we’re pretty excited about this collaboration. Keep an eye out. Or two 👀.

Last but not least, we wanted to tell you about SOLO. A product built to ease the bookkeeping process of any registered sole trader from start to finish, this is a solid product offering solid optimisation of income and revenue. 100% digital, 100% human, it makes paying taxes a breeze.

This is a great product that makes bookkeeping simple, and we’ve been helping them right from the start. We started by defining their Product Value Proposition and designing a new brand guideline, but this is only the beginning.

We’ve had a good month and, by the looks of it, will have a pretty exciting few months ahead too. We can’t wait to see all these great ideas and the startups behind them hit the scene, make a splash, make some changes in the world and, at the end of the day, make life easier. Pretty decent stuff by our books.
