A wee Heraldist summer post
With the entire world opening up, BBQs left, right and center, and beautiful afternoons that go hand in hand with beers and friends, we knew this summer would be a busy one for everyone. So we’ll keep it short. But sweet.
3 Romanian startups rediscovered their identity
As a startup agency, we are constantly discovering exciting new clients who operate in even more exciting tech areas. However, we have not forgotten our roots. Today, we open our soul and portfolio to present you 3 Romanian startups and 3 projects that we were thrilled to work on.
Start(up) the Summer right
Some people are excited about summer because they get to go on holiday, get a tan, get to enjoy a cold beer in the sun – you know, the usual summer vibes stuff. We at Heraldist are excited because we get to work with great ideas and great startups – defining their Product Value Proposition and doing their rebranding in the process as well.
A Spanish Fintech, a Boston Investor and a Global Start-Up Agency partnership. What happens?
A way to pay that supports the community may seem utopic, especially when payments are associated with “giving”, never with “receiving”. And it’s not surprising at all that payments tend to have a negative resonance when we think about the fact that transactions are no longer just a simple way to exchange value, but rather a way to tax value. Whether you pay or you get paid, you are charged for every transaction by a “middle man” who asks for his share. WayPay hits the market with a product that eliminates the intermediaries from the transactional process. And by also eliminating the taxes they required, it contributes to the emergence of a phenomenon with a strong, positive impact upon the community.
The Startup OS
As a Startup Agency we are always helping entrepreneurs develop their ideas and brands in a way that sets them apart in this highly competitive and forever changing market. Which is why the definition of value proposition became one of the most valuable services in the Agency. This is the key to getting an idea off the ground and into the hearts and minds of the customer.
Marching into Spring: the Heraldist way
Now that we got that March pun out of our system, let’s chat about how the 3rd month of the year has been for us. Apart from the occasional bouts of allergy (thanks, pollen!), we’ve been just as busy as the bees that have started buzzing all around 🐝🐝🐝
Another lovely post
Sure, this month was all about love and appreciation for our significant others, but can we take a second and appreciate how amazing this month has been?
Here’s to a better (2020) 1 🎉🎉🎉
A new year, a new opportunity to say ‘it is what it is’ every time something weird happens. But also a new opportunity to make the best of it.
Marius Pop, Heraldist’s Head of Real-Life Jokes
He can see the truth in people, the good and the bad, and that’s where the great insights come from. He still feels some time like an impostor, but he’s a person that every agency should have.
Will Awdry, from an account man to a brilliant copywriter
Will Awdry, the brain behind the Dove Real Beauty campaign with 20 years of experience in British advertising and the key to making you feel so relaxed and confident to express yourself, even if you’re a copywriter or you’re writing emails all day long.
S-P O’Mahony, Heraldist’s COO, on the road again
He came to put things in order at Heraldist as COO. We spent 2 years together in Cluj, but now he’s back to London, working on some big plans, so I definitely had to have him on the top of my list for this interview series.
Work, work, work, work, work - who did it best?
If we had a penny for every time we worked on a nice campaign or idea, well... we’d be running an ad agency in the heart of Transylvania. 👀 And, luckily, October did not disappoint in the ‘nice campaign or idea’ department.

Last month has seen us be our usual proactive busy bees who always strive to make the best work they possibly can, going above and beyond to come up with great campaigns for our clients.
Another month, another Heraldist update
How come it’s already August we don’t really know. Sometimes it feels like it has been the longest year in the history of years.
Who? How? Where? What?
Getting to July this year felt like driving with an out-of-date Google Maps: we don’t exactly know how we got here, there were some moments when we thought we’re lost, we cried in disbelief quite a few times, but we made it in the end. And while some of you might be catching up on your holidays, we’ve still been working, coming up with some great creative work.
Summertime, and the livin’ is easy…ish ☀️
Summer’s officially here and we thought we’d update you on the Heraldist status for June. We’ve even made a checklist.
May we say something?
If there’s one thing we learned in these past few months is that the human spirit will prevail (and also that time doesn’t actually mean anything 🤯 ).
Hello! Is it May you’re looking for?
A month that feels like it has and hasn’t really happened at the same time, technically an all inclusive holiday that no one really asked for. But the fact that the world almost stopped, doesn’t mean we did too.
Stay safe, stay creative
When times are getting hard, our biggest strength as human beings is the ability to adapt. And, to be honest, we’ve adapted quite quickly to working in our pyjamas.
Heraldist + Creative Work = Love
Has it even BEEN February if you haven’t heard the word ‘love’ mentioned at least a million times? Luckily, we were too busy doing what we love to even notice 👀
