A Spanish Fintech, a Boston Investor and a Global Start-Up Agency partnership. What happens?
A way to pay that supports the community may seem utopic, especially when payments are associated with “giving”, never with “receiving”. And it’s not surprising at all that payments tend to have a negative resonance when we think about the fact that transactions are no longer just a simple way to exchange value, but rather a way to tax value. Whether you pay or you get paid, you are charged for every transaction by a “middle man” who asks for his share. WayPay hits the market with a product that eliminates the intermediaries from the transactional process. And by also eliminating the taxes they required, it contributes to the emergence of a phenomenon with a strong, positive impact upon the community.
The Startup OS
As a Startup Agency we are always helping entrepreneurs develop their ideas and brands in a way that sets them apart in this highly competitive and forever changing market. Which is why the definition of value proposition became one of the most valuable services in the Agency. This is the key to getting an idea off the ground and into the hearts and minds of the customer.
Marching into Spring: the Heraldist way
Now that we got that March pun out of our system, let’s chat about how the 3rd month of the year has been for us. Apart from the occasional bouts of allergy (thanks, pollen!), we’ve been just as busy as the bees that have started buzzing all around 🐝🐝🐝
Loss & Grief
All of us have been experiencing loss and grief during this pandemic and, fortunately, this was the most human and healing thing to do: to grieve. During the pandemic, we have actually lived all 5 stages of grief. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. They have probably intertwined and some of them have not yet been completed.
Another lovely post
Sure, this month was all about love and appreciation for our significant others, but can we take a second and appreciate how amazing this month has been?
Here’s to a better (2020) 1 🎉🎉🎉
A new year, a new opportunity to say ‘it is what it is’ every time something weird happens. But also a new opportunity to make the best of it.

Things I have learned in 2020
There were many lessons learned throughout this year, for us as individuals and for us a collective manifestation of humanity. There were also conspiracies, murders, racism, protests, tons of protests, vaccines, viruses, online festivals, memes with how 2020 cannot get worse, and us, those in front of the desktop, mimicking and recreating old rituals into new rituals of coping.
Marius Pop, Heraldist’s Head of Real-Life Jokes
He can see the truth in people, the good and the bad, and that’s where the great insights come from. He still feels some time like an impostor, but he’s a person that every agency should have.

🎶 All we want for Christmas is…
Heading into the cosy month of December, when food’s aplenty, we can safely say we’ve already packed in a few… projects.
S-P O’Mahony, Heraldist’s COO, on the road again
He came to put things in order at Heraldist as COO. We spent 2 years together in Cluj, but now he’s back to London, working on some big plans, so I definitely had to have him on the top of my list for this interview series.
Pandemic lessons: How I learned to not take humanity for granted
During all these months who would have thought that I will have this power of muting the sound of the crowded boulevards, the bustle from the coffee shops at 9 AM, the sound of the first-morning metro, the clattering of dishes while we all have lunch at work, the joyful chatter of kids leaving school.
Foggy mornings with Zorán Zeerowski, Heraldist’s first Art Director
We’re a bunch of introverts, with some exceptions, but most of us prefer to sit in their corner and do their thing. I have no idea if this is something usual for a creative studio, but we’re ok with it and I have to admit that sometimes we take advantage and hide ourselves behind this “we’re introverts” curtain.

If you don't have to sacrifice anything to live by your value, that's not your value
If you’re aiming to become one of the world’s best creatives, there are a few things you can do: You can choose a college with a good Creative Studies program.
Work, work, work, work, work - who did it best?
If we had a penny for every time we worked on a nice campaign or idea, well... we’d be running an ad agency in the heart of Transylvania. 👀 And, luckily, October did not disappoint in the ‘nice campaign or idea’ department.
Vulnerability is an asset, not a liability
Trust. What is trust? How do we define it? What would be the right way to approach it? Are we one of those fully trusting people or one who can never trust entirely? How do we make this choice?
You’ve been fired by a robot
